On the verge of the dream
In the independence speech of the state Israel, David Ben Gurion promised ‘social and political equality for all citizens, regardless of their religion, race or gender’.
But the gap between poverty and rich is expanding in the Promised Land. In ‘On the verge of the dream’, three children are portrayed that grew up in poor and sometimes dangerous environments, but who dream of a promising future.
